The purpose of the workshop to be held with Bilge Merve Çakmakçı on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 13:00 at İMALAT-HANE is to help children see that an object, which they believe has only one function, can serve different purposes when viewed from above, below, or the side. The goal is to develop their spatial and geometric relationships with the environment while ensuring that they have fun and expand their imagination in the process.
Can a matchbox at the point of punctum proximum be a large room or a garden?
Small objects, when viewed with different eyes and from different angles, can host an entire life because, in fact, we humans also enter and exit different-sized boxes in our daily lives. This workshop will include exercises by opening and closing boxes, arranging them side by side or stacking them on top of each other.
